Winter Bees with Brittany Jacobs |
Where do bees go in the winter? How many queens are there in each hive? Do female worker bees really kill all the male bees in the fall?? Join library director and backyard beekeeper, Brittany Jacobs for a cup of coffee and conversation about bees. Answers to these questions and many more fascinating facts will be shared, a learning hive will be on display, refreshments provided, and late season Burlington honey will be available for tasting. |

2 - 5 PM | Bath Bombs | There is nothing better than a warm bath or shower on a cold day. Drop in and make a bath bomb or shower steamer in this fun workshop while supplies last. |
3 - 4:30 PM | Senior Craft | Winter is in the air! Come create a snowflake magnet to celebrate the Frost Fair. |
3 - 5 PM | Mocktails & Me Time | Sample a wintery mocktail and do some relaxing winter activities. |
4 - 5 PM | Ice Carving | Come and see Ice Carver, Rob Storm, make a magnificent masterpiece out of ice. This demonstration will take place outside the main entrance of the library. |
