There is no charge to Burlington residents for a library card. West Burlington, Middletown and Des Moines County rural residents also are eligible for cards at no cost because those entities contract for service through the Burlington Public Library. If you are a resident of Iowa, you may be eligible for a card through the Open Access program if your community has a library or contracts for library services. If you aren't sure if you are eligible for a card, call or stop by the Customer Service desk at the library.
